Georgia Watch Deputy Director Danny Orrock appeared on Georgia Public Broadcasting’s Prime Time Lawmakers last week to discuss Crossover Day and the consumer impact of various bills currently being debated at the Capitol.

As a reminder, Crossover Day is the last day of the legislative session in which bills must be voted on and moved to the opposite chamber of the General Assembly in order to have a chance at becoming a law.

The Lawmakers discussion covered many consumer-related topics, including foreclosure, campaign finance, and the ongoing debate on whether to allow health insurance companies to sell out-of-state policies.
