Health advocacy groups have increased activity and programming aimed toward those aged 65 years and older as the nation’s population grows older. It is projected that by 2060, 25% of the U.S. population will be older than 65. To keep up with this trend, health infrastructure needs to meet the increased demand for senior healthcare and services. Below are resources and education tools for caregivers, clinics, and others who work with senior citizens regularly to understand the ways that the health needs of the aging population can be met.
